Why go out with all guns blazing when you can come in that way. I predict the first edition of The Sun on Sunday will have some sensational stories just to hook the mugs back on the line.

Question is, how long will Murdoch wait before daring to restart the sunday paper?

Obviously in principle that's true. But in practice an offer to resign, which is "refused", is simply a conventional show of (cough) sincerity combined with shared responsibility.

If people are still buying any of the red tops after last week (they're all in it together until proven otherwise) they deserve all they get. They no longer have any rights to be angry or bend other's ears with their complaints. STOP BUYING THE F*****G THINGS YOU MORONS!
