Sucks.
There's one in Edinburgh Shandwick place, bought a few things over the years but nothing big.
Borders in Buchanan street Glasgow closed a year ago now replaced with tat shop. I really do miss that borders, fantastic meeting place, a browse and a cuppa. Now complete and utter tat.
We rented an unfurnished apartment out here, Kare design, where we've been looking for our key pieces - the styles are outrageously fun.

Isn;t it Habitat that AtW has bought his sofa from and the delivery was delayed???Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostThe door finally shuts on Habitat, the furniture chain that took the Swinging Sixties by storm | Mail Online
I would occasionally browse Habitat out of curiously value. The furniture they sold looked like junk and about 10 times the price I'd have expected. I used to wonder who bought this stuff and played a guess-the-price-game, but often underestimated by an order of magnitude.
A lot of shops seem to be going under at the moment. Over a year after our Borders book shop closed, Wilkensons are setting up shop.
