It's already been done by Not The Nine O'Clock News, hasn't it?

I went to see Life Of Brian with a Vietnamese colleague from work. It never occured to me that he wouldn't have a clue about the story of Baby Jesus, or all the epic films they took the piss out of. I think he might have laughed once, and I'm pretty sure he was just being polite even then.

Nope I have 2 handbags the black leather one for day to day & the black one with steel & rubber wings for going out.

Burberry tends to clash with the Goth wardrobe (thankfully)

I remember, very shortly after the film was released, having to stand on a very cold and windy Parade square, for a Remembrance Sunday address by the Padre.
He was croaking away, quietly and completely unintelligibly, through an incredibly ineffective PA system.
Some wag standing towards the back could not resist a swift "Speak Up!" at which the vast majority of the assembled soldiery convulsed in fits of laughter, and a great deal of the poignancy of the event was lost for ever.

    Happy Days!

A BBC comedy drama that explores the controversy surrounding the release of Monty Python's 1979 film, Life of Brian, has been commissioned.

The comedy movie revolved around a man called Brian Cohen, who was mistaken for the Messiah.

At the time, church leaders protested over the production claiming it mocked Christ and it was subsequently banned in several countries.

Holy Flying Circus will be broadcast in the autumn on BBC Four.

I loved that film and remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the original Monty Python programmes back in the late 60's. Will the 'comedy drama' be as funny I wonder?
