    Classic car show

    Disappointingly few of them, but what was there was good.

    A few well restored Trabants were on show. They really became a collectors' item after German reunification.

    The petrol tank was in the engine compartment!

    My favourite? In the cars section probably the Jag 420 G, and you could still smell the leather. Lots of wood too, including picnic trays.

    It's not the kids you need to worry about it's the parents. These days every kid is a 'winner'. Needs to be enough layers with a sweet between each layer for every kid.

    Last time some kids didn't get a sweet and a couple of parents had a go at me.

    I will be taking my collection of old modem dial out noises and C64 game theme tunes. If the kids don't appreciate the beauty of the music from Last Ninja 2 they won't get any sweets.

    Mates wedding all day Saturday, recovering Sunday. Parents got the kids, so might have first lie in in god knows how long
