Sadly there is no advantage in spending money in R&D, the chinese just buy what you have spent millions developing and reverse engineer it.

I can see everything but wine?Originally posted by DimPrawn View Post
Will a British red be as good value as the 4 quid Chilean stuff?
I've tried a few expensive French reds recently but I just don't see what the fuss is about? My palate prefers a robust Latin style, French wines are too thin IMO.

Many people dont grasp the reality of buying only British.
It actually hurts the economy and country. Ironically, you're hurting the UK.
Say goodbye to white goods, see petrol skyrocket in price, etc. The price in everday cheap products manufactured in the east skyrocket and more firms based in the UK go insolvant.
Then of course, we lose all money of import taxations ...

No more German cars for me either. If they aren't at least assembled here, I'm not buying.

Even Prawns ?Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostI'm on a one-man crusade to buy British whenever I can. I figure it might help the economy in some small way that I'm buying mostly British produced food and drink. I've even started buying English wine.
No more German cars for me either. If they aren't at least assembled here, I'm not buying.
