Oh that. Yup, been there, cycling through France when I was 16.
Forgot to buy food or cash traveller's cheques on the friday. So was skint, and didn't eat a thing, on saturday, sunday - and then monday too because the lazy French had a bank holiday!!
I decided to push on, and kept my stomach full drinking copious amounts of water. and in three days did two hundred and fifty miles and lost about a stone!
