Yes that bit of news depressed me over my morning tea as well. We need Gordon Brown as PM just to remind the electorate what it is like living under unrelenting socialism (rather than TB's Socialism lite, but heavy where you can't see it)

Very true. Blair was able to market New Lier as whiter than white, and create the impression that the Tories were self interested sleazy fat cats. The dumb electorate believed that naive black and white view of the world.

Tory: bad, old, sleazy, corrupt, evil, self interested, friends of the rich.

New Lier: young, dynamic, soft and fluffy, kind and generous, selfless, friends of the people.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, I wonder how many people feel as if they've been had?

There's an article in the Sunday Times about various Ministers including Prezza claiming huge sums of money as expenses and doing up their homes.

And the same paper claims we need to build 50K new houses per year to cope with immigration.

No they are not - they make a mockery of our ruling elite. In times past you would be shot for such treason. It's time you realised there are better and more able people out there - they are your rulers for a reason. They are the best that democracy can buy.
