According to wikihowto, the best survival trick is to grow a beard and carry a bible around with you acting super-religious but still as hard as you can manage.

BBC iPlayer - Louis Theroux: Louis Theroux: Miami Mega Jail: Part 1

I thought this was LT back to what he's best at - observing, recording and letting the people speak without injecting his opinions on top.

Would anyone here genuinely think they could take it in that kind of place? I was sure that the 'plot' would end with that speccy kid being dead or seriously smashed up.
