I haven't tried it, and that could be a load of waffle. But you never know - might be worth looking into as a back up or bolster to your instinct.

I sold a chunk of my gold holding yesterday morning.

Simply because I believe there is going to be a financial "event" soon that will knock everything and I want to buy back into gold on the next big dip.
