Four growing children is a challenge, and you've put unbound pressure on yourself to support this family for the next 20+ years. Immense pressure and stress from bench time or redundancy, failing health, their health (if you have four with perfect health until adulthood, then you are truely blessed and very unusual) and on top of this, the compromises (Long haul holidays aren't an option for large families unless born into money, especially as you start paying adult prices for the older ones), the pressure from the other half who probably couldn't work for several years now even if she wanted to.
Remember too that the larger the brood, the more competition for your stretched capacity for affections, and quite likely you'll have two who take a permanent dislike to each other as they grow older (as I have) and it makes your downtime, when you want to relax in your own home, very uncomfortable.
So congratulations, sincerely!, but think long and hard *no, not hard, I take that back* before another 'mistake' happens. Missus suffering empty nest syndrome is not a good reason, compared to what you're going to face in coming years.

If it has stripes all over, it was a Zebra.
If it has a tail, it was Sy's dog.
