I assume as the government probably sould them the stuff in the first place, when the new regime comes to re arm themselves they will charge them a higher price thus making the war in to a "nice little earner"

Is the government allowed to do this?

I heard on the radio this morning that the government has introduced "a tax on Libya's air defence system".

Are they allowed to do that? Can they tax overseas dictators? How much is a reasonable level of tax?
