    There's an app for that...

    So before we went to Ikea yesterday we needed to measure the rooms, draw some plans on paper. Of course no tape measure. But fear not! My trusty iphone 4 came to the rescue...

    My sonar app measured the rooms to within a +/- 1cm, once I set the air temperature, my active sonar was sending out pulses and building up a picture of the room in my hand.

    Awesome.
