My father in law insists on wearing 'friendship' bracelets the kids gave to him. He's been wearing one for over a year, some tatty piece of rubbish my daughter gave him. Actually it was from the shop, but he likes it.

Saw a middle aged exec on my train this morning ( I could tell he was an exec cos he was tapping away on his laptop affording me a chance to peruse some confidential banking/investment info he was reviewing). Anyway, I was admiring the cut of his jib, when he shoots his cuffs to reveal 4 charity rubber bands dangling like coloured calamari from his wrist.
