There seems a current theme of fortune among the contracting fraternity, so i'll add to it.
I had an interview for which I went to the wrong site first. Then fluffed/stumbled about on loads of questions on the stuff I should know, even froze a bit whilst giving a whiteboard demo - couldn't think straight. Then I nailed loads of questions involving various problem solving scenarios involving the product they are designing. Thought it was 50/50 leaning on the side of FAILED when I came out.
But agent called earlier to try and squeeze a bit more out of me and the good news is even after squeezing it is 50% more than previous position.
