Sometimes bands should know when to stop pushing it or at least change direction with dignity. I was watching an MTV program on Rock AM Ring 2010 the other night showing the KISS set. Spandex is a younger man's game fellas.
The confusing thing in this clip is the 2010 German Heavy Metal audience giving it an early 80s feel.

This is interesting because for me a lot of 'punk' was actually Bruce Springsteen regurgitated - certainly Geldoff and Boom Town Rats and certainly this, whilst still good and fresh, I like Bruce, not all of it, none of anything recent, but I do think he had more influence on music in the late 70's than he get's credit for. Anyway, this...

They did Rumours in a year from start to release and that included a 10 day tour, the live track recording and various impromptu gigs. Part of the delay was technical too.

PS - I stayed in Kilmarnock once!
Saw Joy Division at Derby Ajanta Cinema - now a green area after it burned down (twice).

All the best bands are 'Old Fogies'. Music has been going down the drain since 1975.

Anyone ever see ELO when they did the Out of the Blue tour in a flying saucer? I would have sold my granny to have seen that!

I've been on a bit of a Fleetwood Mac memory trip via Youtube for most of today. Like Rush, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and so many others they're worth a revisit now and again.
Real musicians that can get up on a stage and hammer their music out, unlike so many of the "bands" today who can only play when there's computer backup to make them sound capable.

And, to calm things down a bit, any Nick Drake fans abound? Thought not, anyway, no live footage of Nick playing exists, most likely because of his lack of populous and the fact his songs always needed weird tunings....
Hence this is the best you can get, this lass has the tuning sorted (simple F# for a G I think) - notice her left hand does nothing - it's all in the picking on the right hand - marvellous...
