    Credit must go to the thieves too, who obviously had no wish to cause injury and did the honourable thing in beating a hasty retreat when faced with an old woman with a handbag. A rare honour amongst thieves?

    I think the robbers were lucky they weren't hurt. She wasn't mucking about. She didn't exactly sprint over there but she was doing her damnedest.

    Pity one of them didn't get run down by that white van
