Sorry ?! A data analyst on probably £20K tops a year, or a contractor on £350 / day on 12 month contract...
Unless his bonus was £80,000 than I would be surprised

Permie IB staff I know are getting a 2% increase with a less than 10% bonus.
"2% is in line with inflation"
