Actually Admin mentioned that he was worried that you'd been upset that your Monday Links posts weren't getting you enough rep especically as he'd been protecting it's tag cloud dominance for the last year. In truth he did it so save your blushes.

Allowing anonymous repping is no better than allowing anonymous posting (remember CC.NET?).

Your sockies would have to have been created a long time ago or have a high post count to be effective. Otherwise they would just be grey. Plus you need to keep them +ve!
