I will have a hearty breakfast, cycle to work and then fire up my ham radio to speak to the Queen of Denmark about it.

More evidence to support this Gricer fellow is a sockie. I call a meeting of the general council immediately.

    Feelin' Irie

In an attempt to keep up my New Year's resolution of trying to make myself a little more "hip" and up to date with the latest fads and fashions, Malc and I accepted an invitation from one of his colleagues at the library to go and see a concert by a popular group of the "reggae" genre named Steel Pulse".

I have to admit that we both had a wizard time. At the start of the concert, we were both stood at the back as stiff as flagpoles but by the time the group came to their encore, we were 2 rows further in both tapping our feet vigorously.

I'm fascinated by the lingo that these chaps use. If something is cool they say its "ital" and if they feel good they're feeling "irie". Would like to learn a bit myself to impress all the lads in the PA.

One thing I couldn't work out though is every time I turned to a dreadlocked fellow concert goer to remark on what a jolly good band we were watching they shouted a word that sounded like "murder". Can anyone elucidate as to what the significance of this is in the Rastafarian lexicon?

Working...
