Irritating that Hays, who I presume have a vested interest in shipping in cheap labour, perpetuate the myth of the IT skills shortage.

I think the Telegraph are stirring it, trying to draw a stark contrast between £300 per day, which on the face of it works out around £78,000 per 260-working-day year, and the £40,000 p.a. they use for comparison. Glad I don't buy the rag any more.
