As the ultimate contractor, I'd just like to point out that I worked on both the Bugatti Veyron and the Bentley Continental GT (at the same time).

But they never let me drive either of them (perks for the permies).

The ultimate contractor car is a taxi.. I dont want to be bothered with being pulled over for speeding in some souped up knob substitute when I can be entertaining student nurses on champers and felling the goods on the way back to my place...

Just because its the most expensive does not mean its the best - Veyron is highly impractical car, almost as bad as F1 bolid.

Nope, not me sunshine. You may be correct in your assumption. However, the Veyron would be my ultimate car. I'm a contractor, therefore...

Now, stop this silliness and give us an update on your vehicular woes!

£800,000 was one price I've seen quoted.

Apparantly they cost several million to actually build.....

The Veyron car has got nothing to do with contractors - about zero of them will ever buy it, Gallardo is far closer to reality.

By "position to buy" I mean without selling the Wife, Kids, dog, house etc.
