I've been walking around with a broken little toe for two weeks. As I walk to and from the u-bahn station this counts as commuting. It also hurts (although not that much now, it's on the mend).

They're decent every time the snow stops falling heavily, the moment it starts re-settling even the motorways are slowing to a snail's pace. Still moving, but barely. We took a drive up the A1(M) last night and was surprised to see it still had snow covering all 3 lanes, even with no recent snowfall.

Had a meeting in Woking today. I looked at the BBC news and decided not to go in. I am using web ex instead.

The BBC report said M3 closed, M25 in the tulipe, still snowing, 400 lorries stranded on Surrey stretch of the M25. A met officer also said to avoid the M25 at all costs.

I joined the meeting and conference bridge and there was this smug f*cker saying Woking had no snow, the M25 was a doddle and didn't know what all the fuss was about.

Made it into work today for the first time this week, train was delayed by 30 mins and took 30 mins longer. Will be heading off early though don't want to get stuck here.

WHS. I had to leave my car stranded on a hill trying to get in yesterday morning, so got it moved to my mates house, just over a mile away. Strapped small child to rucksack carrier at 06:15 today and walked to the car in the snow.

Dunno what all the fuss is about.
I left home at my usual time and even got back early!!
However, I didn't actually make it into the office having spent the past 7 hours sat in tailbacks

Took me 5 hours to get home from London last night, including a 3 hour walk as the line was blocked by several broken down trains. Who said working in an office meant you got no exercise??!
