    We've already got one. It is NSFW.

    A number of times I have seen a warning on CUK regarding sound, for example:

    Send this to some of your colleagues when the directors are doing the rounds... Top 10 cutest kittens NSFW (sound)!

    Why would you need the sound up on your PC in the office?

    I have mine muted (for the reason you describe).

    If you need the sound for a soft phone or similar then your headset will mask the unwanted noise surely.

    For this very reason I always have my volume muted and only turn it on when I put in earphones.

    Imagine you're in a large open-plan office at Clientco, quiet as a library, and you click on a link that suddenly starts some music or conversation at full volume.

    Just happened to me - I clicked on a link in the Student loan thread, and some mong started talking at full volume about the digits of PI!

    Any chance of a special NSFW sound glyph being introduced and used?!

    It isn't just porn that's NSFW!
