I just wobble out of bed into the office, whne I feel like it. I then wibble back into bed. Nice.

I drive because the train service from my local station to the client is, quite frankly, pants.
It takes longer than driving, costs more and there is only one train morning and evening that get me there and back at sensible times. Miss either one and I'm buggered.

I usually bicycle and generally set off when I feel like it and at whatever pace takes my fancy. (Although it being a bit chilly at the moment I do set off as hard as possible to prevent becoming cold.)
I find my fellow commuters in the early morning to be OK, and later on the the morning they become more, erm, insane, with those around the 9 am mark being quite dangerous; no hand signals, running red lights, that kind of thing. I have suggested on several occasions that maybe they ought to get up earlier and then they wouldn't be in such a silly hurry. The looks and comments I get in return generally confirm my belief that such types are quite insane.

Brussels is a great place. I've lived in London,Paris and Brussels, and it's by far the best. Maybe you were in a crap, boring residential suburb (there are bits like that). Give us the name of a few of the boozers you visited to give me an idea of where you were in the city.
