I liked this observation about comments on the Royal Wedding announcement:
What was noticeable was that on both The Guardian and Daily Mail's sites, among the first comments was: "Are we having to pay for this?"
Mail readers, of course, love royal weddings but object to anything that costs taxpayers money while Guardian readers love public sector spending but hate royalty.
Unlike The Sun comments section, where the best one for me was 'Is Kate up the duff then?' Don't you just love the earthy humour of the plebs.

No problem posting this - as long as happy to receive the criticism it is likely to draw
1 - About me - "pseudo intellectual" puts me right off him to start with. Am sure he is a nice guy but to describe himself as this =
2 - Paragraph spacing. Sort it out.
3 - Did not grab me. An article title "Tits", clicked on it, brain disengaged very quickly. Don't know why. Maybe because there were no tits.
