01922 420057 keeps ringing my private line despite TPS, ex-directory etc

It's these bunch of hoons - Homeserve, from Wallsall. It's an automated caller as it cuts off after 6 rings. They've called again today twice in the last 2 hours.

They've been annoying a lot of people apparantly. I'm going to block their number as calling them, like most of these hoons, does not stop the harassment.

I've already got a case outstanding against TalkTalk via OTELO - I may just open another case with the Ombudsman and add these muppets. I'm sure there's something that can be done with companies if they do not use the TPS database to pre-screen calls?

99.17% in the case of K9 for my most recent 59,619 emails.

The call centre ringing the mobile does not come up with a number.

For the landline, that is a service I would need to buy.

Most of the automated ones don't send their number (callers number withheld) so asking your telephone provider to block all calls where the number is withheld goes a long way of stopping nuisance calls.

For the past week I've also been getting them on my mobile, this time from an Indian call centre who ask for Mr mumble-mumble and then go into their sales spiel about Payment Protection Insurance. They are ringing up a number of times a day and driving me potty. Again, there seems no way to stop them ringing.

(It's like the Bad Olde Days of British Gas phoning every hour to get ClientCo to switch to them, despite ClientCo being on a trading estate with no gas service to it.)
