Have things moved on from Call of Duty (or whatever it was called) then? I haven't even got around to deciding whether to buy that one yet, or whether my PC could handle it. I also got confused by all the different versions. In fact, IIRC, the version numbers didn't make sense anyway.
Bunny hopping brings back memories Still prefer CS over DoD though.
DOD was superior to CS in every way - couple of shots and enemy is dead, and I loved bleeding that can be fixed with bandages - they removed it in DODS to cater for noobs
Stella and Day of Defeat are the perfect combination...
RSS feeds are like so last century
Still on DOD? I reverted to Counter Strike a few weeks ago as was bored of L4D and MOH2. Counter Strike still rocks. I moaned about the new MOH the other day. Tried the multiplayer again though and it is not bad actually...
Most kind sir anyhow, and did Mr Alex really help you out? I couldn't tell from the thread but I think he was annoyed as I asked him in broken Russian whether he would be my boyfriend!
Tried babel fish and G translate but no joy. Thought would check the server though and Alex's PM back you was explicit enough for me to guess it was something like that
Yes, by posting on this board whilst admin checked what was wrong with RSS feed. Also I offered helpful "post-event" consultancy, free of charge of course.
Hey hyperD - should work a bit better now. Back end setting for RSS to be cached for 60 mins, have dropped this to 1 as this is not so busy a board that it should cause problems. I hope...
Thanks for your help Alex
Thanks admin! I didn't want to cause any extra kerfuffle, was just curious as to why CUK lagged behind other blogs/boards such as Guido's etc

The reason I did not help much was because having rare updates to RSS feed puts less pressure on server, and also increases your visit counts - now hyperD is as good as lost
Also I was busy drinking beer...
Nice points Alex. I might turn the RSS feeds off then as higher visitor stats would be nice I know what you mean about the server resources but this machine is hardly under pressure so we should be OK.
hyperD has been feared lost and returned to the fold again. I am not worried If it helps people keep up to date with the forum then I am happy with the RSS being more widely used. Was checking Diestl's posts earlier and one from him in 2007 was asking for a better feed. If only he was still around to see it
Enjoy the beer. I have just eaten too many Liquorice Allsorts and feel like I could either be ill or give in to temptation and do the rest of the packet. Maybe a beer would help them settle...
