Just a bad patch. The team's struggling, no surprise this would be reflected in individual players. And also the failure at the world cup might mean quite a few players have taken a knock.
-
Gerrard is struggling. I would say with the form he showed in the world cup and this years form he is a spent force.

As we only have one striker, I would say that the midfield need to start creating opportunities for him.Originally posted by fullyautomatix View PostLiverpool will not get relegated but a top 10 finish is looking very unlikely. The strikers need to start firing.
However that would involve keeping possession and being able to beat the opposition.
Gerrard is having a poor season, I was expecting some heavy challenges by him but no - he was off the pace.

They won't go down with Reina, Carragher and Gerrard up the spine.Originally posted by fullyautomatix View PostLiverpool will not get relegated but a top 10 finish is looking very unlikely. The strikers need to start firing.
Apart from them though, the rest of that squad looks like bottom six fodder, even Torres the way he is playing this year.

Not quite true. Even with beating Chelsea twice on the way to that, if they won all the rest of their games you cannot catch them.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostIf we win all our remaining games we will be champions
Mind you, if that happened it would be a strange-looking table with two clubs 50 points ahead of the rest. A bit like the Scottish Premier League.

I just hear that Rooney is coming to Everton for 25 million.
Saint Moyes said 'We dont really need the donkey, but the money will come in handy'

Hugely unlikely they'll go down, though Leeds were pushing for the top of the league and then ended up falling out entirely, but I think top-half is a tad optimistic based on last season and this season so far.
