Turn foreign aid to foreign development - tax relief on british companies providing infrastructure to third world.
Simplify tax system, fewer taxes more revenue.
Automate everything possible in public service and then reduce staff they can become policemen etc.
Make long term unemployed work for benefit. There are lots of things to be done that we can't afford to do because of labour cost. MOD properties, grafitti removal, prison building etc.
require £50k annual fee for each work permit.
Make sure foreign owners of companies can't avoid local tax.
Open public sector supply to small businesses. No more £700 light bulbs.
Replace quangos with internet voting panels, if fortune 500 companies can provide secure identification then so can the government.
Review PFI and fix a max gross profit then reduce costs.
create uniform specifications for IT systems that are representative of current systems but reviewed nationally via voting panels. Think ITIL for development.
put responsibility for things firmly on the managers shoulders lets have a few sackings 'to encourage the others' they might get their snouts out of the trough.
Cut fluff jobs. Its not just nurses in the NHS.

Why does it always have to be looked at job cuts?
We tell millions of northerners that they have to move to find work, so we shouldn't feel too bad about those 4,000 islanders. Although, come to think of it, maybe we'd get a lot more money for the Isle of Wight. If only we could get a serious party interested in taking over N.I.

stop giving cash to lazy gits who can't be assed working
no free flats for teenage mums (their parents look after them or they go on the street)
legalise pot and tax it
send the unemployed off to war - that always worked a treat in the past....

Means test child benefit.
Stop child benefit after 3rd child
Stop disability benefit for those who cand easily find work
Reduce VAT for Bars and Restraunts etc like they did in France
Make signing on more difficult (eg have to sign on each day in the job centre to cut down on those working cash in hand)
Reduce the use of expensive consultancies in government for roles which could easily be carried out in house
Simplification of the tax system
