See my correction above. It's configurable, and if set to zero minutes I think it means you can change it whenever you want; but obviously that's not a good idea as it would be a spammer's paradise - wait until the thread has dropped off the front page, go back and edit your thread title to contain your spam keywords and edit your post to be stuffed with links to your site. Google will find it and either give the spammy site googlejuice or, more likely, decide that the forum is just a spam link farm and remove it entirely from its index.
