Check out Google's SEO advice, particularly their SEO Starter Guide (PDF) - despite the title, it really contains 99% of what you need to know.

    Hi Guys & Girls

Have any of you got experience of SEO companies, there are so many out there is it hard to fine a 'good' one, we're currently spending about £500 every 9 days on google addwords, and hoping that by getting higher in the organic searchers we'd be able to either reduce this cost, or increase business. We currently have a good conversion rate of about 4-5% on adds displayed, so we're not 'waisting' money on google as such.

    Any thoughts or advice??

    Many thanks!
