Snaw, actually I called you a catoon character first, so if there's any imitation going on....
You say you don't want to fight with anyone, but that hardly stopped you insulting me without any provocation. I can't remember ever insulting you - but you felt that need simply because you disagreed with with my posts.

I dunno WS, I call you a sad caracature of a bitter, twisted, little englander and your best response is to call me a cartoon caricature of a sad little comprehensive oik.
I'd call that a pretty crap reposte. Imitation is the best form of flattery they say.
Didn't realise that was ghetto speak though, and as far as I know 'who's your daddy' isn't the preserve of ghetto culture. Acting tough - I don't need to, I've no desire to fight anyone on this earth if it can be avoided.

Originally posted by snawPardon me if I got confused, but I was responding to JG's statement on them winning. I don't for a second imagine I'm having a debate with a secret AQ cell and if you want to come in mid-flow and make statements like it's a victory for AQ, then expect me to say I don't agree with you when I don't.

How dare people disagree with the voice of reason

Comprehensive little oik I may be, but I'll always be your daddy, and you'll always be my bitch in any debate ...

Attack me all you want for thinking that, that's your own personal call, doesn't change my mind one bit. If that's naive that's fine by me.

Guest repliedSadly the only people who will win are those who take advatange of these atrocities to cut down on legitimate citizens freedoms. ID card now surely will be fasttracked, even though I am pretty sure that those who perpetrated these acts had proper cover just like those on 9/11.
Exactly, how long before Blair Bush et al use it for political leverage for their own little agendas?

Unfortunately there's precious little TB around today to keep you occupied.

There will always be terrorists Snaw because there are always extremists. From this perspective you can never win a 'war on terror'. Until our nation is run by Al Qaeda we will not have been beaten in the sense that you mean but, today, they had the upper hand for want of a better expression. The Dunkirk spirit is admirable but we are currently 'fighting' a spectre that has no regard for human life - least of all its own. We have been admitting people into the UK, not sending back those who were here illegally and funding those who were, the controls are inadequate and the human rights mob make matters worse. What has happened today was IMHO inevitable
