Yes now, it’s not really accurate to say that dinosaurs ‘ruled the earth’ is it?
It’s not as if we have evidence of pre-historic Brontosaurus parliaments or a Star Chamber of Her Majesty the great Diplodocus. We have no real evidence of reptilian constitutional democracy.
I think it’s fairer to say that dinosaurs ‘lived on earth’.
And where did they come from? Did the Swallows bring them?
