    These days if I had six pints in a session, it would be potentially fatal for me. Three is about my limit these days. If I try four I regret it.

    I was never one for lunchtime drinking when in a contract. Just not worth the grief. Even if things are OK, there is always the anti-contractor permies that complain about paying loads of money for someone who has been drinking, etc.
