Went recently during the May bank holiday to Inverie on the west coast. Had to take a boat to reach the place since it is not connected by road or train.
It was a walking holiday and it was brilliant. Oh also, the UK's most remote pub served top food and beer.
Cant beat Scotland for going up mountains.
