I didn't milk it!!! After my 2 weeks in Hospital being waited on hand and foot by nurses......
I didn't spend the next 8 weeks on crutches expecting to be waited on hand and foot by MrsD.....

Yep a nice crescent down the back of the ankle...... They might have been more "delicate" with your Mrs but on my rough and gnarled old hide they just hacked a 5" gouge in my ankle stitched up the two loose ends and then tacked it all back together and wrapped it in Plaster for several weeks.....
Still when he assessed it he did say.... On old people we just slap it in plaster and "hope" it sorts itself out.... but on active youngsters we sew up the tendon.......
Now........ What should we do with you??............ As you are not quite senile I think we will stitch it!!!!

    Which was nice.... ish!

I play (well to be fair play-ed very past tense) Rugby... and Badminton......

and before you get all mouthy about Badders.... let me tell you my injury list from playing Badminton.
    1) Broken ankle
    2) Twisted knee (many times)
    3) Snapped Achilles Tendon
    4) 7 stitches in a nice little Zip down the middle of my forehead!

And I don't just play "pat-a-cake" - Over many years I have played a decent league standard against County level players.... true I am too old, fat and slow to maintain that standard now - but I still get a run out in the 1sts a couple of times a season.... well nowadays only when they are desperate if I am honest

ClientCo is having a World-Cup party onsite for the Saturday game. Although to be fair they are putting up food and beer.

I assume they'll let us watch the day-games, since they put in a satellite dish and big plasma TV over the winter. However I feel a bit guilty charging an hourly rate to watch TV, might just take the days off or not bill for the 2 hours of each game... a nice thing to make a note of in my outside-IR35-working-conditions dossier

It's an attempt to prevent you all pulling a sickie or sloping off to the pub at lunchtime and not coming back.
