When we first set this version of the forum up the threads from the old version were pulled in by VBulletin. It was an automated screen scraper I guess and I not particularly surprised it did not do a great job. The trouble with the EZBoard forum was that it was their server, their DB etc and we could not port over users and posts in any other way, hence the registration free-for-all when it was first released.

Sorry about that. I've not quite sorted the paradoxes out, and my assistant in a bit of a rush just terminated the timelines of several users, which has caused a right old mess I can tell you, (one of them wasn't your usual pot-noodler and once actually will do/ did something useful).Originally posted by NickFitz View Postof which fourteen thread ids must be missing - and they also seem to be in reverse temporal order

There appear to be 2,485 threads in the dev DB that have timestamps lower than the first post
At a glance, it seems to be threads 72 - 2571 inclusive, of which fourteen thread ids must be missing - and they also seem to be in reverse temporal order

The preceding and following threads look likely to be consecutive.
I think admin must have tried to use threaded's time machine to import the old forum, so of course it all ended up in totally the wrong place and backwards with a hole in the middle

Not me - admin is the one with power over the database; I only get to play around with the anonymised copy on the dev serverOriginally posted by MarillionFan View PostHave you merged the archive site with the new VBulletin board. I've just picked up posts from 2002?!?!?!?
