    All PKD's books were strange to some degree or other. Galatic Pot Healer, Maze of Death, We Can Remember it for you Wholesale, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, etc.

    None of the films based on the books actually do them justice, although Blade Runner was a classic in it's own right.

    Just listened to a prog on R4 about him.

    Presumably in the run up to the release of "A Scanner Darkly"...

    I read that book during the eighties.

    Deeply odd.
