Has anyone here not been a contractor for one of the consultancies?
Have done a couple of stints, one even had business cards printed for me to make me look like a permanent employee.

"Senior Consultant" ....Rings a bell. I remember as a permie developer going out to sales proposal at a large supermarket with the director to answer techy questions. Just before we entered the meeting he said "by the way you are head of IT as far as they are concerned".

Search for the fish
Whenever you see a report from one of these TLA consultancies there'll be a diagram that looks like half a fish.
That's the bit that is utter bulltulip and you can therefore enter here and rip it apart.
Is really good fun, if you're not wanting to extend.
