Can't find a link. I'm pretty sure I originally read the story itself in a newspaper called 'Chad' from Mansfield, but nothing comes up on Google. IIRC it was also in a report by Dr Hartland and Prof. Collins of Bath University. But again I can only find a few mentions of the report, not the report itself. I know of a guy who queried why his daughter had had chicken pox for like 8 weeks. The GP concerned and his entire family disappeared in the night. Just packed a few bags and legged it. Left the house fully furnished, a car in the drive, children's toys in the garden.
