I never liked him much. As a politician, what good did he ever do?
My most vivid memory of him was his face, twisted in hatred and spitting, when he talked about red-coated toffs galloping around the countryside.
He let his class war get in the way of reason, like Prescott, although he wasn't as stupid as Prescott.
The only good thing I've got to say about him is that, unusually for a politician, he was a proper footy man.
