Not worth it, is it?Originally posted by d000hg View PostTempted to reply and suggest the rate is a joke, don't think I can be arsed.
I once replied to a completely inappropriate job spec from an agent telling him that I had NONE of the required skills (all MS stuff rather than Oracle). Reply came back - just had a link to a training website. Nothing else.

Nice Contract
They must be well pleased to get such prestigious 'exclusive roles'. Unless by 'exclusive' they mean 'everyone else is advertising this role at £250'?Dear d000hg
Vertical IT have an URGENT requirement for a C# .NET Developer to work on a 6 month contract based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. This government directed, up-to-the-minute project requires a Developer with solid C# .NET experience, as well as Oracle and PL/SQL. On the project you will also get exposure to some of the latest technologies such as Silverlight, so previous experience will be highly advantageous.
This is for an immediate opportunity, and is exclusive with Vertical IT. Due to tight budgets locally based candidates may be more suitable, rates are between £100 and £130 a day. C# Development experience is essential. There is potential for this opportunity to go on into 2011 for the right candidate. It is essential that applicants are flexible, and able to work alone, as well as part of a team. You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and have initiative. The project is to work on an asset management system, so previous experience of something similar would be beneficial.
