I know the government and its unaccountable turkeys are pushing us into a Totalitarian state, but let CUK be the last bastion of Libertarianism.
Please?

Week 12 - General Forum - Let the threads begin
a) General Rules
1. A minimum of one poster is designated as the Moderator for each Session of General. The Moderator will be the one who watches the board for infringements, decides the issues that may arise and who moves the thread to LR. As with all threads, it does not pay to contradict the decision of the moderators, decisions by moderators, and Admin are final and unarguable. (even if they are inconsistent)
2. A poster is out of a thread if he is hit by a stinging remark and it causes them to FLOUNCE. When a poster is upset they are to immediately call themselves "OUT or FLOUNCE". They must then hold their keyboard over their head, continue to call out "OUT or FLOUNCE" and head straight to a SAFE ZONE.
3. A poster is not considered out of the thread, if they are struck by a stinging remark and it does not offend. A poster is not considered out of the thread if they are struck by a splatter from another offending poster.
4. If two or more posters insult each other simultaneously, they may continue to insult unless moderated or until one has been eliminated. A moderator will decide who is to be banned when two or more posters infringe the rules.
5. If there is question as to whether a poster has been insulted & upset that's what the moderator is for. Please invoke the Run to the Moderator infraction button or move straight to a SAFE ZONE.
6. Predetermine the length of the thread. Most threads run 60 to 180 minutes, but some have been known to drag on and on for years. The moderator will be the one who keeps track of the time. By setting time limits you make for a more aggressive thread. If no one wins, who cares it's virtual after all, so go on to the next thread and try some new strategy. Have Rest periods between threads. Predetermine their length and have the moderator tidy up after you. The Rest Periods allow the posters to refresh themselves, to talk over the thread that they have just posted, PM each other & reload ammunition, Google up new insults, replenish wet wipes and change their bed sheets if required.
7. A poster is not allowed to insult other posters or threads within the Business, Accounting or Technical. These are considered OUT OF BOUNDS.
8. "FLOUNCE EXTRAORDINAIRE" is when a poster gets insulted and walks out of the thread, only to return and call other posters Trolls or Sockpuppets. During this walk they are not supposed to speak to any of the other posters but continue to do so. A FLOUNCE EXTRAORDINAIRE" poster is to walk out of the thread and to report immediately to the moderator where they can 'Point the Finger' make a lot of noise and ask to be added to the VICTIM SUPPORT THREAD in LR. This is a SAFE ZONE and is considered OUT OF BOUNDS.
b) Safety Rules
1. It is not allowed to post naked or make reference to this fact during the game.
2. During a thread, seats must be in the upright position and screens at the correct distance from the poster in case of headaches or RSI.
3. No physical threats whatsoever are allowed between posters.
4. It is forbidden to post continually under 30 seconds. The post leaves the keyboard with an average speed of 60 words per minute, and this may lead to multiple upsets. If the time posted between two rival posters is under 60 seconds, both posters must increase the length of time or a moderator will ban the poster.
5. If a poster holds their keyboard with both hands stretched out over his/her head, none is to shoot at the poster. This movement is only allowed if the poster has a Webcam and is not naked(see(1))
6. An eliminated poster should not insult while walking out of the thread, but they may be continually shot at, even some hours after the end of the thread.
7. Moderators must not be targetted directly, but indirect posts are allowed as they cannot ban. Never fire at the Administrator he can!
8. It is recommended not to consume alcohol before, during, or after a thread as it can make you look a real dickhead.Tags: None
