PS : got my last gig through Linkedin - so it can work

and it does ask to send me a message when you request to join the group and ask to provide a username. I suppose some people could look at the list of forum users and give me a name.

I've not PMd anyone to join the LinkedIn group - I can't even see where it says to PM anyone, either.

Facebook group I think is PM invite, or am I mistaken there as well?

Is it just me, but I get really REALLY annoyed with agents who try to link to me on LinkedIn. They see it only as a way of getting more leads and I have NEVER had any work come my way as a result of allowing an agent to view my profile.
