I've played Badminton at a prison a few times - Cat B I think which has some pretty serious offenders.

They played all their matches at home

The matches were mainly just like other matches although they did have more than the normal ratio of "odd seeming" players - like the bloke who walked round the entire sports hall kicking the wall after every point they lost (just to keep calm ).

The main differences were:
We didn't hang about to socialise afterwards....
We didn't shower after the match - although the Wardens assured us the facilities were good
