I didn't see the reporting of this and can only guess as to the quality of the media coverage - sensationalism sells. Equally, I guess that none of the above appeared anywhere near the coverage.
Christ, I never knew you'd gotten out. I don't know if it's kudos to you to come on here or if you are kidding yourself it'll all blow over.

I do have issue with your claim that you weren't offending since 2007. Now it may not be a crime as laid out in the statute books, but you certainly were living a life up in the clouds when you were posting on here about your vast military experience and the trauma that you'd suffered but didn't want to talk about <sob>.

I remember you trying to tell EO he knew nothing about military manoeuvres (I think the debate was about column movements or some such) and you were telling the general audience how you'd suffered severe trauma from your vast time in the forces.

In my eyes you were belittling those people who have experienced such issues and all because you are devoid of attention. The shrinks can call it what they want, to me it's 'look at me' syndrome and for that reason I'm out.

I have to admit that I fell for EO's gag hook, line and sinker.

    heh heh.
I think that not only has the dam burst, but the foundations have gone as well. We'll never shut him up now

    I agree with you.

If that precis were factual, it'd be wholly unacceptable behaviour and I further agree with you that some of my actions during the time period being considered (October 2006 - June 2007) were wholly unacceptable.

Turning however to those nasty things, facts, I asked the pregnant woman to come off the exercise but - having no authority to order her off the exercise - was unable to force her off. I did however ask a paramedic who was on the exercise at the same time to look after her and she was taken home.

No, I was subjected to a custodial sentence (which, I'd point out, I was released from at the earliest opportunity - 40 days into a 16 week sentence) locked up for reasons which remain highly questionable and remain subject to formal review to this date.

Part of the reason for the review - the details of which I'm not going to go into here for reasons of space and time as much as anything else - is that the following individuals in the courtroom (or represented) recommended against a custodial sentence:
    • Defence team (as one would expect and hope)
    • Probation service (recommended a community service and treatment order)
    • Court-appointed psychiatrist (recommended treatment order)
    • Prosecution (recommended that at most a suspended sentence might be in order)

Note also: this was a first offence with no prior history of offending and no offending since been in full-time, regular, frequent treatment (summer 2007 - date).
