    Can you send the kids to the grandparents for the weekend?

    If so then go out, have fun, make sure and say "we don't do this often enough anymore" (not "isn't it nice to get rid of the little sods") and give her a damn good seeing too when you get home.

    That's a shame... as there are kids etc, get a sitter and take her out, even if it's only for dinner... make sure there is no kids chat.. just you and her - hope it goes ok.
