You are in a twisty maze of passages, all alike

Want to play Adventure on your own PC? We've located an MS-DOS version that runs from the Windows command prompt. A .zip archive of the game and some related documentation is available.
No copy of DOS? You may yet be in luck:

Even the folks at Sun remember Adventure. There is an easter egg hidden in the administrative interface of the iPlanet 6.0 server that plays the game.

That would be MS-DOS v7, on top of which just happened to run Win 98SE, if you need THAT OS then there are plenty of alternatives...

There will be an app for Muffins on the JesusPhone.

And Muffins for Windows has a certain ring to it.

    Word of advice

Don't spend 2 frakin hours cocking around with Sun Virtual Box trying to build a Windows 98 SE virtual machine. It says it supports it. It FRAKIN doesnt' Just lets you build the box, boot it a few times and then SVB crashes.

[I wanted to do this as I wanted to play an old game that does run under Vista but the sound stutters and is bloody annoying.]

Working...
