    So after setting it up correctly my new Gretsch is a "mean" machine. I´m currently using a VOX modelling amp. For the places we play in where we can´t be too loud ideal really. Now it does have a tape echo effect. But I´m thinking about a specialist tape echo pedal, like the Boss RE 20. Will this give me a much better sound? or will it not sound much different to the tape echo on the amp? The pedal costs about 165 pounds. almost as much as the amp really. Makes me wonder, but I would to love have that Brian Setzer sound
