Hire SEO team they'd explain this to you in detail.
Then they might use our services to help them do their job.
We are PART of the toolset used - by itself it's not enough, so we don't market our service to final clients, only to people who do SEO (which can be in house team in the client).
So explain how what you do would benefit a humble little recruitment agency?

Are you telling me you have finally mastered sarcasm?
AtW has outsourced his Sarcasm operation to me. Being a Russki, he is no good at it, so I now have the franchise.
I like that tie Dodgy, it's really nice. it suits you, gives you gravitas
Due to this being compared to Google the assumption is that it is similar to Google when it is quite clearly not.
I would imagine Google Analyticals is more similar to your product than the google which we all know and love as a search engine.
Which in essence for the average joe on the street means nothing because I cannot use your site in the way that I can use google and so the comparison in terms of discovering over 1 trillion (or whatever) websites is kind of pointless -- from an average Joe point of view.
Indeed, RIGHT now it is not mass use. The goal however is mass use but we can only get there if we master backlinks and relevancy _AND_ prevent time wasters from having their way
The comparison with Google's index size is valid in a sense that it shows that our web graph is of the same scale, this means we've got a chance to analyse the web the way they do, and discover how to rank sites as well as they do.

I know how to identify time wasters - you. It's not suprising actually - you stand out from our customers because they COME to us for data, they are ALREADY on the path, they KNOW what they are seeking for and we've got it.
This means less time waste - you don't suprise me since you (by your own words) engage in cold calls, meaning trying to get engaged with people who want nothing to do with you
Frankly an agent who does call calling, admits to lieing, does all sort of "normal" stuff now lectures me on marketing strategy

By the way I did a Google search on "backlinks" and "SEO" I now know what they do/stand for (I also found some porn )

You may know your customer but you certainly do not seem to understand the first thing about how to engage him.

Are you serious? You think you can walk into ASDA and ask for recruitment advice? It's not their business to provide you one and they focus on what they do best. We focus on our customers - people who understand value of data and they can use it effectively. If you value your website then hire some SEOs who have a clue and they'd know the value of our data.
One of the main tasks for any viable business is to know who your customers are - this can be very small target market, everyone else might not be. Take ESure.com - they target specific market of people with 4+ years NCB. That's what they do - they focus on THEIR customers and politely decline others.
You said that your product would remove the need for cold calling yet you are not prepared to explain why. Instead you sneer and hide behind technical jargon. You may know your customer but you certainly do not seem to understand the first thing about how to engage him.
